Carb cycling is a relatively new diet method. It comes from the world of sports. Top athletes and Bodybuilders were the first who benefit from this method. On hard training days, they had High-Carb days followed by Medium- Carb days, and on rest days, they had Low-Carb days.
One of the main benefits of the carb cycling diet is. It lowers calorie intake to levels that promote weight loss.
Through this alternation of high and low carb days, your metabolism does not come into the so-called starving mode. When you don’t eat enough food ( typical for low-calorie diets), your body starts to reduce its energy output, everything slows down, and your weight loss stops.

Everyone eats differently, and everyone has their preference. Some like to eat meat but do not necessarily need Carbs. Others cannot or do not want to skip their carbs. I’m that kind of person too, I love my pasta, rice, oatmeal, and I couldn’t imagine a diet that doesn’t include this. That’s why I think it’s important to show you how many possibilities you can combine these three diets with intermittent fasting.

  3. Recently I found my weight increase 5 Kgs so I am looking for a weight loss recipe. Your introducing fasting method is excellent for me. Just do not mix carbs with meat has no objection from me. 

    Taking meat with vegetable or fruit is like a western meal, I like it most. The timing of fasting 16 hours looks fit for me. I normally take a cup of coffee in the morning and start working on my small farm before the sun rises up. You are right, coffee and water are what I need in the morning to do my farm work. 

    Taking high carbs 3 days and low carbs 4 days I have no problem following. The point is high carbs with low fat and high carbs should be healthy carbs. I hope I have fully understood your fasting method to make weight loss happen to me. Thank you very much for your excellent article.

Hi Monique…nice article you have, I do agree with keto dieting as long as there is no contraindication of doing that likewise with intermittent fasting and carb-cycling intermittent fasting, people who will undergo such dieting methods must ask their individual healthcare provider if such dieting methods will work for them and if there are no danger of doing such type of dieting methods. I am one of the proponent of such dieting methods you mentioned in your article because I personally do it to my self and the result is good to me and as a doctor, I even taught that to my patients in the clinic but with careful evaluation or with medical supervision because there are dieting methods that will cause harm than good if your patient/s had existing medical condition/s Monique, no dieting methods or strategies for weight loss fits all…it must be tailored fit and individualize to your patient or student.
