Fit for Life Principles

fit for life consists of five principles.

  • Principle 1: Food with a high water content
  • Principle 2: Correct food combination
  • Principle 3: Correct fruit consumption.
  • Principle 4: Avoid eating during the fasting period.

Principle 1: Food with a High Water ContentAlt= Intermittent Fasting

The human body consists to a great extent of water. While a newborn child still has a full 70-80 percent water content, a person of 85 only has around 60 percent. Most of this Water is not in the blood but found in the body cells. Water contains in the fruits or vegetables is of the highest quality. All vitamins and minerals that we eat through fruit and vegetables are extracted from cellulose and fibers.

Vitamins and minerals are transported into the intestine, where they are absorbed and evaluated. After this process, the water absorbs the waste products and transports them out of the body.

You see that food with high water content is necessary you not only need to eat food with high water content. For weight loss, make sure you eat 80% food with high water content every day.

  • Food with a water content of more than 50%, is generally considered to be high water content.
  • Among the high water content nutrition, the cucumber comes first with 97%. The 2nd place goes to the watermelon with a water content of 96%.

Principle 2: Correct Food Combination

Alt= Intermittent Fasting

If you like to lose weight or maintain a healthy, and slender body, make sure you eat the right combination of foods. At Fit for Life, the highest priority, never to eat protein and carbohydrates together.

That means, for example, Potatoes with meat. Bread with ham and cheese. Noodles with Chicken.

These two combinations can cause digestive difficulties. Undigested food is left too long in the stomach, and the possibility of fermentation is very high. Considering meat needs about 6 to 8 hours to digest. When we eat Protein and Carbohydrates together, it can put a lot of extra strain on the body if undigested food is fermenting. Which can cause weight gain and health problems. We must therefore ensure that digestion can happen as quickly and efficiently as possible without problems.

Proteins

  • Lean Meat, Beef, Chicken, Turkey.
  • Fish & shrimps.
  • Nuts.
  • Eggs.

Carbohydrates

  • Starchy Vegetables. Potatoes and corn.
  • Fruit. Whole fruit and fruit juice.
  • Grains. Bread, rice, crackers, and cereal.
  • Legumes. Beans and other plant-based proteins.
  • Dairy. Milk, yogurt.
  • Soda, candy, cookies, and desserts.´Principle 3: Correct Fruit Consumption

Principle 3: Correct Fruit Consumption

Alt= Intermittent Fasting and Keto

The fruit is exciting food, and it is the only food that does not have to digest. It has its own-digestive-enzymes. If we eat fruits as fresh and as ripe as possible, it is already pre-digested.

Fruits need to stay only 20-30 minutes in the stomach. The vitamins and minerals that we eat through fruits extracted from the cellulose and fibers, transported with the water to the intestines, where they are absorbed and evaluated. After this process, the water absorbs the waste products and transports them out of the body.

However, it is crucial to eat the fruit fresh and ripe, boiled, canned, or pasteurized juice concentrates start to ferment and turn into an acid, which causes digestive problems. Fresh fruit is a so-called living food. Your body provides Vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, and glucose from carbohydrates, which gives you a real energy boost.
Fruits are the perfect food to start your day.

The best way to eat fruit is when your stomach is empty, which means the fruit is the first food you consume. Wait 30 minutes before eating other foods. If you like to eat fruits in the afternoon, make sure you have not eaten meat at lunch. Meat digestion takes about 6 to 8 hours, together with fruits, it can lead to digestive problems.

Principle 4: Avoid eating during the fasting Period

Alt= Intermittent Fasting

With the 16/8 Fit for Life Intermittent Fasting, you’ll extend the time between meals, typically the hours between dinner and the next day’s meal. The most popular and doable option is to skip breakfast and take the first meal at lunch.

Skipping breakfast is one of the easiest ways to burn fat successfully. Due to the long fasting times between meals and the two meal per day strategy, the insulin level is constantly low for most of the day.

In contrast to other diets, the principal action of Fit for Life intermittent fasting is not based on the reduction of calories but aims to induce the body to adapts its metabolism through long meal breaks. If you don’t eat for 16 hours, the body switches from burning carbohydrates to burning fat – and uses the fats stored in the body.

When we go back in time, most people ate like this already. I grew up like this. As a child in the sixties we used to have our breakfast at 7.30, at noon we had lunch, and at five pm we took our dinner. No snacks, no in between, we ate three times a day, period.

That means from 5 PM and 7.30 in the morning, we had our 14-hour Intermittent fasting already, without even knowing it. For most of us, this was a standard procedure. In those days there were no snacks, or in between meals, today we eat more processed food, or we go more often for fast food which is not as healthy as home-made food.

Intermittent Fasting is the most important new trend in nutritional medicine. Studies have shown, intermittent fasting can protect against diabetes (type 2) and may even have a supportive effect on cancer therapies.

Intermittent Fasting isn’t hard to do. If we stop eating at 6 PM and don’t eat anything until ten o clock the next morning we already have our 16 hours fasting time. The fasting time is mostly at nighttime. We become slender while sleeping. After 10 AM we can eat fresh fruits, we can eat fruits until 30 Minutes before noon, at lunch we can have nutrition with the correct food combination, (principle 2). This Fasting rhythm can be very well integrated into everyday life.

Start with the Fit for Life-Intermittent Fasting Diet for a Better Life.

  1. Eat healthy food during the day, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, use healthy unsaturated fats such as native olive oil, Coconut oil, Avocado oil, lean proteins such as fish, turkey, chicken.
  2.  Avoid processed food, pork, sugars, and refined grains
  3. Don’t eat after 6 PM and don’t snack in between. This is very important, because in the evening, about 3 hours before you go to sleep, your body produces the sleeping hormone, Melatonin. This Melatonin hormone interferes with your metabolism. If you eat a late dinner or snack, the metabolized has switched already over into the sleeping mode we digest the food more slowly. We have to avoid this. This habit is not good for a good night’s sleep, and it is not healthy.
  4. Drink enough about 2 liters a day, water, coffee, thee without sugar,
  5. Get moving, do some sport, or go for a walk for half an hour, be active.
  6. Get enough sleep, 6 to 8 hours.

Conclusion

  1. With the Fit for Life Intermittent Fastening method, you can lose weight easily and quickly. You will be amazed at how quickly you get used to this new eating habit. Because you eat healthier, you will not get cravings. Drink plenty of water and try to eat nutrition with high water content. You will lose weight constantly until you reach your ideal weight. You will feel fitter and years younger. Enjoy your food.
  2. All you have to take care of is, eat your 2- 3 meals at the right time. Don’t eat during the 16 hours of fasting.
  • Start at 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. food and digestion.

  1. Hi,

From my online research Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern that cycles between periods of fasting and eating, it’s not a diet in the conventional sense but more accurately described as an eating pattern, common intermittent fasting methods involve daily 16 hour fasts or fasting for 24 hours, twice per week.

    Thank you.

    Aluko.

    • Intermittent Fasting is ideal for people who like to have a healthy diet method. Of course, you can do it 2 times a week, but you can also integrate it into your daily life as a new healthy lifestyle. Nowadays there are a lot of serious studies going on. Intermittent fasting is also great for general health. Diabetes type II, cardiovascular diseases, and even allergies are minimized by people who are practicing the 16-hour fasting. After about 14 hours of fasting, your body comes into an autophagy phase, which is helpful to cleanse your body. Parts of the cells are broken down to recycle when creating new cells. Autophagy is the body’s own recycling system. This enables the cell to save energy or to ward off pathogens.
